The Mandelbrot set has become popular outside mathematics for its aesthetic appeal, it is one of the best known examples of Mathematical Visualization, also in tribute to the great mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot. We played around with Houdini and rendered with Arnold to come out with this awesome looking pattern.
